Special Educational Needs (SEN)
At Kinoulton Primary School we are committed to offering an inclusive curriculum to ensure the best possible progress for all of our pupils whatever their needs or abilities. Our aim is to create an atmosphere of inclusion, encouragement, respect and sensitivity.
This school website and the documents and links below give parents general information about support for pupils with SEN; however, any parent who wishes to discuss their child's needs is encouraged to meet with their child's class teacher and Miss Clackworthy, school SENCO. While Miss Clackworthy is on maternity leave, Mrs Huntingford will be covering the role of SENCO.
To contact the SENCO, please send an email to our school office:
The following documents and links should help you understand what we do to support pupils with SEN:
SEN Information Report: A full and in depth explanation of the main areas of SEN, how we support pupils and the answers to many questions that parents/carer may ask.
